Natalie is graduating from the BA(hons) Acting course at University of Central Lancashire in 2017. During her time at UCLan, Natalie has performed scene extracts from ‘Camille’, a play by Alexandre Dumas which was directed by Sarah Stone, and in director Mark Whitelaw’s stage performance of Caryl Churchill’s play ‘Love and Information’. Natalie will be part of the cast in David Edgar’s play ‘Pentecost’ to be directed by Terence Chapman and performed 8-11th February 2017.
Natalie started her performance journey at the age of 6 when she participated in her first LAMDA graded examination in Communication: Speaking Verse and Prose, and later went onto achieve her gold medal.
Natalie was a member of one of Birmingham’s most successful youth theatre schools: Stage2. It was during her time at Stage2 that further sparked her passion for performance. The many opportunities presented at the school provided her the insight to the professional world of theatre and performance. The experience of being part of a high quality show provided her with valuable skills and knowledge applicable to the professional industry, with the thanks to Liz Light (founder and director of Stage2) and Ellie Darvill (former director at Stage2).
Natalie also has a passion for physical fitness and went onto combining this with her acting and through Stagefight; specialising in performance combat and choreography. With the expert skills and knowledge of Raphael Aldis (Master Instructor) and Kaz Luckins (Instructor) Natalie was able to achieve an advanced level ECSPC performance combat certification and also gain a basic firearms certificate with Jim Quinlan (firearms instructor).
